The fairground is located in the center of the Shanghai World EXPO area. It is easily accessible by metro lines and bus.

From Shanghai Pudong International Airport
- Taxi: Around 50 minutes
- Metro: Take Line 2 and get off at Longyang Road Station, then change to Line 7 and get off at Yaohua Road Station.
- Taxi: Around 35 minutes
- Metro: Take Line 10 from Terminal 1 and get off at Laoximen Station, then change to Line 8 and get off at China Art Museum Station
