The postponement comes amid a new wave of Covid-19 cases across the country, particularly in Shanghai. A number of exhibition centres have been converted to temporary treatment centres which, combined with a recent tightening of travel restrictions, has created uncertainty around trade fairs opening as scheduled and participants’ travel plans for the show. To align with the pandemic control measures in Shanghai, it was deemed necessary to delay the fair until a later date. The organisers would like to express their thanks to all participants for their continued patience and support.
With long-term prospects for China’s domestic stationery market looking optimistic, the organisers will now focus their attention on delivering an even stronger edition of Paperworld China for exhibitors and key buyers to re-connect once again.
Organised by the China Stationery and Sporting Goods Association (CSSGA) and Messe Frankfurt (Shanghai) Co Ltd, Paperworld China is the only trade fair in the domestic stationery industry that receives official support from the CSSGA, an influential national industry association in China. For more information about the show, please visit www.paperworldchina.com or email: stationery@hongkong.messefrankfurt.com.
